Classes are held
in the lower level of the First Presbyterian Church at 718 Court Street in
Fulton, MO. Morning classes are available. To ensure a high quality
educational experience, registration is limited to 16 students in the four-year-old
class and 14 students in the three-year-old class. The FPA also attempts, whenever
possible, to maintain a balanced gender ratio in each class. In addition to the
teacher, each class has a permanent teacher's aide. the classroom ratio is therefore
maintained at 7 to 8 students per educator. The FPA works with William
Woods and Westminster Universities. Occasionally, university students attend preschool
classes to observe and provide "extra hands". The State of Missouri Bureau of Childcare
has approved the Fulton Preschool as a license-exempt facility. Two teachers and an
education administrator who are not FPA members conduct an outside evaluation of the
Fulton Preschool every four years.
